Graduate must be in 3rd year or honours level of study to qualify for the internship and in any one of the following fields below:

University degree in:

  • Bsc Computer Science
  • Bsc Computer and Electrical Engineering
  • Bsc Information System and Technology
  • Bcom Information System and Technology
  • Bcom Information Science

The programme will run from 11th to 15th July and will consist of various activities that will assist you in gaining valuable insight into your own career track as well as an understanding of how a Bank can use IT skills.

Each intern will be deployed to a business unit and participate in their structured intra segment rotation programme aligned to that area.

At the beginning of the internship programme, interns will each be giving a performance contract to outline deliverables and goals. At the end of the programme they will receive formal feedback from their line managers. This will help them identify strengths and areas for development.

Compensation and Rewards:

You will be compensated during the internship. If you perform well on the internship, you will be considered for the Graduate Programme.

Responsibilities:

Project a professional image of FNB and provide high quality service to clients external and internal to the bank.

  • Quality day-today execution of deliverables assigned to the intern by the line manager.
  • Present a structured and detailed analysis of their experiences in the internship programme.
  • Assist with research and new product development.
