Job Description

The Chief Operating Officer will oversee the investment activities of this holding company and the company’s full services which includes Corporate Financial Management & Advisory/Consulting services, Asset & Investment Management and brokerage in addition to other investment interests.

This role is based in Lagos.


Responsibilities

  • Developing business growth while securing new and profitable businesses for the company
  • Implementing and executing successful strategies leading to effective operational excellence
  • Holding and implementing investment management oversight for the group of companies, with a focus on maximizing return to investors
  • Leading, supervising and motivating staff of the company
  • Providing strategic direction and introducing corporate policies and procedures resulting in the investment company’s benefit and growth
  • Portfolio Management and the day-to-day management of the holding company

Qualifications et experience

  • First degree from a recognized university plus an MBA. A Chartered Accountant or similar professional qualification, with exceptional leadership and management skills.
  • A highly versatile candidate (local or expatriate) with proven track record in Senior and Executive Management, 15 to 20 years extensive experience covering the areas of Corporate Finance and Investment Management, Change Management and Operational structuring, Strategic Management, Due Diligence and Business Development.
  • Rich exposure to providing solutions to all aspects of Financial and Investment management decisions; strong financial management knowledge; strategic insight and sharp analytical planning skills to manage the company and meet top and bottom line business objectives.

  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Good communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
