Job Description

IFAD programmes in Nigeria require the services of a Communication Specialist to coordinate a common communication platform for no fewer than three on-going projects across the country, as well as facilitate the implementation of a knowledge Management framework for programme visibility and outreach.
To be eligible, the candidate must have a minimum of a first d

egree in Social Sciences, Mass Communication/Journalism (or equivalent). He/She must have a minimum post qualification period of not less than 10 years. Experience or qualification in Project Management approaches will be an added advantage.

Skills & Competencies
The candidate must also possess the following skills/competencies:
• An above average level of IT skills and computer literacy
• Multi-skilled
• Resilience and ability to work under pressure
• Ability to work to deadlines
• Ability to write and edit copy
• Good interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a team with people from diverse cultural backgrounds
• Ability to mentor and impart knowledge to subordinates
• Understand project management
• Understand the efficacies of the different media platforms, including multi-media
