Job Description
Responsible for delivering the Region’s Talent agenda, aligned to the business talent plans. Management of propositions for the following talent pools: local graduates, International Graduates, High Potential (Hipo) and Junior Talent Pool.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
Support the country/regional talent agenda in partnership with the Regional Head of HR
Manage/ Run the Country Talent Councils including the agenda, materials, minutes and follow through
Act as the country liaison on talent development and deliver the talent agenda aligned to Group standards
Develop the Local Graduates, International Graduates, and Hipo pool as per the Group proposition and Country specific supplemen
Primarily act as the project manager owning the implementation of the Hipo proposition across all aspects of the framework
Partner with Talent Acquisition in delivering internal resourcing plans for talent pools/ roles Report periodically on the health and progress of the talent pools/ their development, particularly the Hipos, via/ at the Country Talent Councils (managing the agenda, papers and the minutes)
Support the Regional Head of HR on ManCo Succession Planning process aligned to Group standards and requirements
Qualifications & Skills
Over 10 years relevant HR experience
University Degree (minimum, 2nd Class)
Strong Communication skills
Facilitation and coaching capabilities will be an advantage
Change Management Capabilities
Strong Networking, Negotiation and Influencing skills
Senior Stakeholder management skills
Self-starter
Highly innovative and organised
In compliance with the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Act of 2004, all applicants should ensure that they have completed the mandatory NYSC programme. A discharge certificate will be required as evidence of completion of the programme. Where an exemption has been granted, a certificate of exemption will also be required.
