Job Description

An International Publishing Company Producing Magazines, Books (Academic and Biography), Directories, Periodicals and specialized documentaries require the service of Nigerian and expatriate staffs.

ABUJA

GENERAL MANAGER

An expatriate, he/she should possess a University degree and must have worked as a Senior Commercial manager in a reputable organization with 7-10 years experience. Must be between 35 and 45years.

Must be capable of initiating and executing projects and co-coordinating all marketing and commercial operations within the organization. He/she should be able to create and nurture a wider client base. Must be a high-flyer, resourceful with an impeachable commercial exposure both with in and outside the country.

COMMERCIAL MANAGERS

Should posses a first degree in the social or management sciences, with at least 7 years experience in a reputable commercial organization.

He/she must be a self-starter with high commercial acumen and ability o work with little or no supervision.

The candidates must be between 30-40years

An MBA will b an added advantage

ASSISTANT COMMERCIAL MANAGERS (NIGERIAN)

First degree in the social or management sciences, with at least years experience in a reputable commercial organization.

He/she must be a self-starter with high commercial acumen and ability o work with little or no supervision.

The candidates must be between 30-40years

COMMERCIAL OFFICERS

Should posses a first degree in the Social or Management Sciences, with at least 7 years experience in a reputable commercial organization.

He/she must be a self-starter with high commercial acumen and ability o work with little or no supervision.

The candidates must be between 30-40years

ASSISTANT EDITOR/STAFF WRITERS

Should have a Master’s degree from a reputable University, with a 2:1 at first degree level in such discipline as Economics, Philosophy and Humanities/Arts.

Pointy of entry will be determined by experience and competence.

However, candidates with less than 5years analytical experience need not apply.

PART-TIME MARKETING CONSULTS

Top level retirees (at directorial Level) or spouses of Abuja based members of diplomatic community who are apporat5ialy educated.

GRAPHIC ARTISTS:

Should have 5-7 years cognate experience in graphics

Should be able to design beautiful covers for magazines, periodicals etc

Strong skills in playing with colours and enhancing the aesthetic quality of publications. Experience in page planning will be an added advantage

DESKTOP PAGE DESIGNERS

Creative in page planning

The candidates must be an HND holder or equivalent

Holder of NIIT may also apply. Experience graphics will be an added advantage.

LAGOS

FEMALE BILINGUAL MARKETING EXECUTIVES

Young and success-driven female French graduate from reputable universities with flair for marketing.

The idea candidates must be personal and self-confident with high oral and written communication skills in French or Portuguese languages. Candidates should possess a minimum of 2^nd class upper division

They should also possess valid international passport, willing to travel as short notice and able to work independently in Francophone countries. Candidates should state whether they prefer to work in Lagos or Abuja.

BUSINESS REPORTERS/RESEARCHERS (BILINGUAL)

Commercial and French graduates with fairly for writing. Candidates must have covered business beats and or must have worked on the business desks of any reputable publishing house. Should possess valid International Passport. Be willing to go travel at short notice and able to work independently in Francophone countries and other countries
