Job Title: Fleet & Transport Manager

The Ideal candidate for this position should have good years of managerial experience working and have a good understanding of all relevant legal compliance and fleet controls together with the followings requirements:

Duties

Ensuring company compliance of all transport policies, legislation and procedures to do with towing etc.
Managing, monitoring and developing a team of drivers and line managers.
Making sure that all transport fleet vehicles are properly maintained and serviced.
Giving drivers a full debrief, including tacho analysis.
Organizing vehicle checks.
Identifying operational issues, potential problems and opportunities.

Requirement

A good minimum degree in the arts/sciences together with other relevant postgraduate qualifications.
Ability to take charge of the day to day operations of the transport department.
Efficiently manage a team of drivers and vehicles.
Ability to take responsible for all of the dispatching, routing, and tracking of delivery vehicles.
