Job Purpose/Scope This role offers a broad scope for growth. The role will involve being part of the team that is developing the GSK regulatory future for West Africa and will involve working in Nigeria, Ghana and other Anglophone West African countries.

The ideal candidate will need to be capable of managing all regulatory aspects of assigned products/categories and will need to have the willingness and potential to take on the challenge of critical review and approval of consumer and medical advertising claims.

The successful applicant will be an individual who demonstrates on a daily basis the GSK values of integrity, transparency, respect and consumer first.
Key Responsibilities Improve lives through scientific innovation by:
-Registering new OTC products and line extensions in Ghana & other Anglophone West Africa with a sense of urgency
-Enhancing and maintaining dossiers of marketed products
-Liaising effectively with regulatory bodies and industry associations in Anglophone West Africa as necessary

Build an efficient consumer driven supply chain by:
-Working effectively with supply chain partners to help drive innovation
-Engaging with our supply chain partners to deliver regulatory requirements

Building category defining brands that our consumers love through;
-Efficient and timely review and approval of advertising & promotional materials
-Building relationships & promoting open communication with the Marketing, Sales, and Customer & Shopper Marketing teams.
-Liaising effectively with West Africa business and global category teams to deliver innovative claims
-Successfully represent GSK in industry association groups and liaising with external bodies to ensure the company’s position is appropriately communicated.

This role offers a broad scope for growth. The role will involve being part of the team that is developing the GSK regulatory future in West Africa.
Qualifications, Experience -University qualifications in Pharmacy or related Science discipline are essential.
-At least five years experience with OTC Regulatory Affairs is preferred
