Job Description

Guinea Insurance: As part of our transformation agenda, we are seeking the services of people who are humble, smart and hungry for success in a bid to create a world class insurance services provider.

Successful candidate will be required to:

Market the company’s products and collect premiums
Identify short-cuts to random sale of specific products.
Device ways and means of countering objections.
Seek opportunities for new prospects.
Develop a customer oriented approach to issues arising from marketing challenges
Implement the overall strategies of the team.
Assist the team lead in rebranding effort and creating enabling environment for direct marketing.
Review daily marketing activities/ figures.
Provide information for weekly reports.
Compile comprehensive account for team monthly report.

Commitment to Performance Contract
Commitment to deliver agreed revenue budget
Commitment to deliver cash collection of 95% of production
Commitment to claims ratio of 25%

The right candidate must:

Possess relevant working knowledge of the insurance market
Be able to perform with minimal supervision
Possess first degree in insurance or any social science field from a reputable institution of higher learning
Possess a minimum of 2 years’ experience in marketing/sales with a leading insurance company

Possess strong analytical minds and pay attention to details
Excellent leadership, verbal, written communications and computer skills
Be excellent team players, with drive and great interpersonal skills
Be able to cope with change, to be flexible and handle uncertainty
Possess strong presentation skills
Be able to make sense of issues, identify and solve problems and “think on one’s feet”
Be result oriented
Be able to maintain appropriately directed energy and stamina, to exercise self-control and to learn new behaviours
Possess ability to exhibit tact and diplomacy in negotiations
Demonstrate ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
For all leading role, relevant training from leading business schools would be a clear advantage
