HSE Officer Job in Lekki, Lagos for a Short Term Contract

HSE Officer is required for one of our clients in Lekki, Lagos Nigeria. The client has requested that the HSE Officer have a knowledge of Construction/Oil and Gas safety (please note this is essential).
Job Description:

• The HSE Officer Reports to the Project Director on site and completes HSE Statistical reports.
• Provide project QHSE matters and functional support to the project team
• Supervise, coordinate and monitor QHSE Performance on the project
• Carry out Unsafe Act, Unsafe Conditions Auditing to identify any inconsistencies on the project site
• Attend client weekly/monthly HSE meetings & provide technical support related to site HSE issues.
• Any other job that may arise as project continues.

Qualifications:

Minimum B.Eng or B.Sc
Minimum NISP Certificate
Minimum 2 years HSE experience
Previous oil and gas experience dealing with construction/fabrication/chiller/ac safety
Lekki/Ajah residence highly recommended
