Job Description

Position: Laboratory Shift Analyst

The job:

· Analyze all refinery samples (in-process/finished) to ensure that parameters /values obtained are within specifications

· Carry out check-analysis

· Generate reliable analytical results that can be used to optimize plant/factory operations

Qualifications:

· Credit in Mathematics and English Language in WASCE/GCE

· BSC/HND in Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Biochemistry, Science Laboratory Technology, Food Technology / Food Science or any related disciplines.

The Person:

· Must be familiar with, and can handle basic laboratory equipment/apparatus

· Must be computer literate for effective report writing

· Must possess basic knowledge of industrial safety

· Must be physically fit, agile and healthy

· Must be willing and able to work shift

Experience:

· Must have at least 3 years practical laboratory experience

· Knowledge of Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) practices
