Job Description

Our client, CourierPlus Limited is a top quartile Courier firm recently acquired by a dynamic group of companies. Due to on-going re-engineering and transformation, the organization seeks qualified candidates to fill the following key positions:

1. MANAGING DIRECTOR

The suitable candidate must be able to identify and deliver critical value drivers of the courier business and successfully execute a turnaround strategy for a growth-focused business.

Key Responsibilities

· Create and cascade the vision and mission of the organization to all stakeholders

· Design and implement successful corporate strategic plans to move the organization to the next level

· Wholly accountable for the overall performance of the business in terms of growth and profit

· Responsible for generating and achieving annual financial and customer service objectives

Critical skills and Competences

· Strong leadership and communication skills

· Convincing courier and logistics operations experience

· Previous hands-on experience in managing business within a highly competitive industry

· Expert in strategic planning and execution with strong entrepreneurial mind-set

Education and Experience

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree. A master’s degree in business management will be an advantage. In addition, the candidate must have at least 15 years working experience in supply chain and logistics management.
