POSITION: MARKETING RESEARCH &MEDIA PERSONNEL
Responsibilities
Seek and provide information to help Dragnet determine their position in the marketplace.
Gather data on competitors and analyze their prices, sales, and method of marketing and distribution.
Collect and analyze data on customer demographics, preferences, needs, and buying habits to identify potential markets and factors affecting product demand.
Devise and evaluate methods and procedures for collecting data, such as surveys, opinion polls, or questionnaires, or arrange to obtain existing data.
Monitor industry statistics and follow trends in trade literature.
Measure and assess customer and employee satisfaction.
Measure the effectiveness of marketing, advertising, and communications programs and strategies.
Forecast and track marketing and sales trends, analyzing collected data.
Respond to requests for information from the media.
Study the objectives, promotional policies, or needs of organizations to develop public relations strategies that will influence public opinion or promote ideas, products, or services.
Construct and provide write-ups, documents and comments as regards the company
Confer with our public relations consultants to produce or coordinate production of advertisements, articles, press releases, opportunity to speak, promotions, events.
Arrange public appearances, lectures, road shows, or exhibits for clients to increase product or service awareness or to promote goodwill.
Minimum Requirements
· Minimum of a Second Class Upper Division (2.1) from a reputable University

· Minimum of 2 years experience as a marketing/media personnel, PR personnel or any other related role

· A flair for writing

· Possession of a qualification in Project Management will be an added advantage

·An extrovert
