Summary of tasks

Appen Butler Hill is looking for native speakers of Hausa (as spoken in Nigeria) for transcription work. The work will involve listening to audio recordings of Hausa speech and typing down in Hausa what is said or fixing the given Hausa text to match the audio.

Essential skills

- Must be a native speaker of Hausa from Nigeria

- Language skills must be current i.e. the language is still spoken and written

- Can understand written English instructions

- Must have access to a computer with internet

- Basic typing skills

Payment:

Pay is calculated on a piecemeal rate.

Duration:

Approximately 4 – 8 weeks

Location:

This position is available to work from home.
