Job Description
Media Relations
Carry out daily media monitoring to scan news items on the business, brands and industry and on developments that will and generate report not later than 11am
Draft Press statements on company developments, events and activities.
Draft Holding Statements on developing issues that require company response.
Draft articles/features on topical issues that is of interest to the company to be circulated to contacts in the media
Profiling the media to keep track of changes of practitioners and their medium for deeper engagement

Sponsorship
Draft responses to sponsorship requests guided by review decision.
Follow up on drinks support for event and periodic media sampling.
Website
Work with website maintainer to effect the update of information elements as flagged by CM.

Communication materials
Draft content for NBC Communications materials – brochures, posters, fliers, banners, public notice etc

Event Management
Work with CM to plan and execute company event
Draft report of company community events and sponsorships.
Generate report of events being prospected by the Function.
Newsletter
Draft content for quarterly NBC Today and monthly NBC Now! and work with CM and Agency to produce the publication and coordinate circulation to staff.

Intranet
Upload content on the intranet as advised by CM

NBC Communications
Format reviewed messages to be broadcast and publish
Draft PAC messages for staff broadcast

Monthly Media Report
Draft a compilation of NBC’s appearance in the media on a monthly basis

SMS
Draft messages get approval from CM and post via sms platform
