Job Title: Project Implementation Engineer
Job Objective/ Purpose of Job:
Ensure timely & professional deployment of electronic payment solutions.
To provide technical expertise & support to other internal business and technical departments.
To provide support and maintenance for applications deployed to corporate clients and banks on the switch network.
Job Duties/ Responsibilities/ Accountabilities:
Operational Responsibilities
Channel Deployment (ATM, MobilePAY, POS@Bank, Bank@Home, Kiosk)
Channel Enhancement
Examples include: ATM Value-Added Services (Logical & Virtual Top-up, Bills Payment, Cheque Processing, Remote Key Management), Multi-Language Support (ATM, POS, Mobile, Web), Channel Customization, Implementation of Value-added services
Channel Certification (ATM, POS, WEB, Mobile, EMV Certification)
African Rollout (i.e. Centralized Architecture for channel rollout into other African countries)
Integration to external systems, parties and networks
Examples include Integration to Processors/Switches (MasterCard, VISA), Bank Host interfaces to Postilion, Bank Host Migration
Obtain a good understanding of the Customer’s technical architecture
Provide support and resolution to clients in accordance with the Service Level Agreements

Performance Management Responsibilities
Project completion versus Project plan
Quality of implementation of projects
Quality of support and resolution of issues for clients
Customer satisfaction survey

Communication Responsibilities
Provide site visitation reports, project status reports, time sheets or project completion documentation
Review and summarize miscellaneous reports and documents; prepare background documents as necessary
Handle all inquiries within capacity
JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
Education Qualification: A good degree in any subject
Professional Qualification: Not mandatory but recognized
Experience 1-2 years minimum experience in a similar function
KEY COMPETENCIES
Functional/ Technical:
Technical knowledge of the specific area of assignment and of overall company activities
Sound technical background, Strong computer and internet research skills
SQL Database management
Windows 2000/2003 server operation
ISO 8583 messaging formats
EFT communication protocols
Postilion Software architecture
EMV chip card transaction processing.
