JOB VACANCY IN A BROKERAGE COMPANY

Our client, one of the leading brokerage companies in Abuja requires for immediate employment, the service of a Human Resource/ Admin Personnel

JOB POSITION: HR/ Admin Officer

DUTIES

·         Plan and implement activities of recruitment to ensure the right level of manpower to meet the company’s business requirements.

·         Managing the preparation of manpower statistic, e.g. staff movement, retention, and conduct the analysis and recommendation to the management.

·         Recommend and manage the deployment of appropriate selection tools

·         To ensure Recruitment of high quality staff to help meet company business objectives.

·         Develop and implement sourcing strategy, and supervise the usage of recruitment agencies to ensure optimum value is delivered.

·         Develop induction materials & conduct induction to new employees to ensure all staff members are familiarized with the company policies and procedures and align themselves with the company vision and culture.

·         Assist in formulating remuneration and rewards strategies/policies.

·         Assist in managing the employer brand to ensure that the company is perceived as an Employer of Choice.

·         Work closely with the HR Team to help deliver solutions that are relevant to the business needs and in line with HR Strategy.

·         Ensure the information and records of employees are collected and filed properly, confidentially and manage site administration work in general.

·         Supervise cleaners and drivers by instructing their own duties in order to reach the company goal.

·         Obtain quotation from suppliers to ensure that the competitive price is acceptable and with good quality of products.

·         Review the quotation collected by an assistant, evaluate with the relevant personnel and comments on the selection.

·         Coordinate tenants to contractors for water/electricity connection.

·         Support and work with other staffs/supervisors/managements to ensure the smoothness of work and to achieve the business objectives.

·         Review the update fixed assets listing prepared by an assistant when any acquisition and / or disposal occur.

·         Conduct fixed assets physical inspection at least every 6 months with one assist from other section and file the record of inspection. Any problems should be reported to the Management


Qualifications

·         Candidate must have a business management related degree from any accredited tertiary institution

·         Candidate must have not less than 3 years HR/Admin experience

·         Candidate must be very smart

·         Candidate must be able to communicate in English Language effectively

·         Candidate must have good negotiation and influencing skills

·         Only Abuja based candidates should apply
