CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER (JOB REF: RILCEO)
The CEO is responsible for planning the company’s strategic business objectives, drafting and implementation of the business plan and evaluation of the plan (profitability and growth). This includes: overall strategy definition, quarterly priority meetings, status reports, now projects and investments and expenses monitoring. The CEO must discuss the plans with the board of directors and management team. The same applies to the Company’s Internal Capital Adequacy Assessment Process and Liquidity Assessment. The CEO is ultimately responsible for initiating and maintaining up to date all compliance and Governance policies.
SKILLS REQUIRED FOR THE ROLE
• Experience in strategic planning and execution
• Knowledge Trust and Estate planning
• Skills in examining and re-engineering operations and procedures
• Experience in formulating policy and implantations procedures
• Ability to develop financial plans and management resources
• Work requires professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills

PROFESSIONAL AND TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
• 15-20 years working experience
• A Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance or Accounting and ta least ten years of experience in a leadership role for a bank, fund or large company.
• A willingness for continued on-the-job training and development
• Professional qualifications are added advantage
• Well-organized individual with strong interpersonal skills and good attention to details without losing sight of the overview and ability to work with deadlines
• Excellent verbal, analytical organizational and written skills
• Excellent people management skills.
DIRECTOR OF INVESTMENT AND PROJECTS (REF: RILDIP)
Day-to-day supervision of the Company’s projects, investment accounts, funds and portfolios. Reporting to the CEO and the Investment Management Committee. This is the role of an asset allocator and manager, with strong financial risk management qualities. He/she should have the capacity to measure financial risks and returns in great details and ensure best-practice management for the company’s portfolios.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Investment Management
• Management and review of projects and investment portfolios
• Attend investment management committees
• Prepare strategic assets allocation recommendations
• Collaborate with investment committee members on securities/product selection
• Ensure compliance with the company’s risk metrics and investment biases
SKILL REQUIREMENTS OF THE ROLE

• Analytical and communication skill oral and written
• Interest in financial markets, financial analysis, alternative asset management, real estate, wealth management
• Good listener, possessing a high degree of sensitivity combined with the ability to be objective.

B. Professional and Technical
• 5-7years working experience
• At least undergraduate degree in Finance or Business Administration
• Preferably CFA or under preparation.
FINANCE AND ACCOUNTS MANAGER (REF: RILFAM)
ROLE AND DESCRIPTION
The Finance and Accounts Manager is responsible for the finance and accounting operations of the company. This includes production of periodic financial reports, maintenance of an adequate system of accounting records and a comprehensive set of controls and budgets. This is the role of an asset allocator and manager, with strong financial risk management qualities. He/she should have the capacity to help identify errors, inconsistencies in reports and financial risks and returns in great details and ensure professional support tot eh company and CFO.
SKILL REQUIREMENT OF THE ROLE

• ACCA/CIMA qualified
• Audit experience with the big 4 firms is desirable
COMPANY SECRETARY/LEGAL COUNSEL (REF: RILCSLC)
ROLE DESCRIPTION
The Company Secretary/Legal Counsel’s main objective will be ensure that the company complies with statutory requirements whist developing effective and good corporate governance practices. He/she will also be responsible for developing a robust framework guiding intellectual property rights and commercial relationships with contractors, whilst ensuring that the company’s interests are protected.
KEY ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES COMPLIANCE
• Setting up and maintaining the company’s compliance monitoring programme, ensuring all compliance procedures are embedded in the company’s system.
• Ensuring all company’s staff work in a compliant manner and up-to-date with all compliance procedures and changes to regulations as required
• Ensure regulatory policy is effective defined, up to date and incorporated within the compliance manual and other related business documents
• Liaising with external regulators and advisers, such as SEC, NSE, CAC, auditors, registrar and keeping abreast of regulatory changes.
• To recommend appropriate compliance and governance training and procedures for the company.

• 5+years working experience in a similar position
• Excellent academic background, with a degree in Law
• Team player
IT MANAGER (REF: RILITM)
The IT Manager will be responsible for the day to day supervision of the IT systems and requirements. The role is to ensure maximum availability of computer systems throughout the company and will include proactive maintenance and reactive support for the IT systems including Action Directory, SharePoint.
SKILL REQUIREMENT OF THE ROLE

• Ability to effectively prioritise and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
• Excellent project management and troubleshooting skills
• Experience in IT infrastructure planning is essential
