Ruth Obih-Obuah is the founder and CEO of 3Invest, a Real Estate Investment Company in Nigeria.
She graduated with a LLB from the Imo State University and proceeded to the Nigerian Law School, in 2004, where she was called to bar. After her call to bar in Nigeria, she proceeded to the BPP Law School, London and passed the Qualified Lawyers Transfer Test in 2007 which made her eligible to practice law in the UK.
She has a certificate in Entrepreneurial Management from the Pan-Atlantic University, Real Estate Management from the Harvard Graduate School of Design and she took part in a Real Estate Management Program from the Harvard Business School.
After her Bachelor’s degree, she was admitted to study Oil & Gas Law at the University of Dundee for her Masters degree program but was rejected a visa to travel to the UK. The visa rejection, according to her, was one of the reasons she got the strength to start up the company. She started 3INVEST in 2007. It originally started in the UK where she had two partners in London and it ran for a year before she came back to Nigeria to start up alone. In January 2011, she started 3Invest Intelligence, a division of the 3Invest Limited that focuses on real estate media and advocacy. She also anchored a bi-weekly radio programme Real Estate On-Air on Classic 97.3 FM and Beat 99.9 FM, both in Lagos.
In 2012, she was awarded the Most Aspiring Business Person of the Year by Forbes Africa.
